About Me

Hi, Im Meghann and I am a mixed media artist based in the coastal town of Nairn in the North East of Scotland. I graduated from Moray School of Art in 2021 with a first class honours degree in Fine Art Textiles and now rent a studio from the Wasps Artists network, https://www.waspsstudios.org.uk/ in a beautiful location next to the beach close to my home.

Since early childhood I have always had an interest in art and nature. Growing up in a rural environment I have fond memories of spending numerous hours outdoors then watching many episodes of David Attenborough. This connection and love of nature now flows through into my artistic practice. Being fortunate enough to live on a stunning stretch of coastline, my practice is inspired by the surrounding landscape and aims to comment on our relationship with the environment in which we live.
